PALMYRA LOGO 2012

Over the last few months I've had a lot of people asking me who "Client L" is. Client L is a "big local client" from Long Island, NY. They just recorded their EP down in Nashville, Tennessee with 456 Recordings, and are making LI proud every day. They're a breath of fresh air followed by a nice hard kick in the ribs in an otherwise stagnant and generic genre where almost all bands now sound the same. I haven't seen an up and coming band from the area create such a loyal and heart-pumping crowd response during their shows. They just opened for The Acacia Strain last week at 89 North in Patchogue, and next month they'll be opening for BORN OF OSIRIS / UNEARTH @ OLLIE'S POINT / REVOLUTION 11.02.12.

I'm very excited and proud to announce that I am now the designer and photographer for Palmyra!

WORK IN PROGRESS: HANDS+SPINE

Lovely Instagram quality of a drawing assignment for my Life Drawing class. Topic is "two body parts interacting". Referenced off a woodburned image from Etsy.com of two hands grasping a fraying rope. Decided to do my own adaptation of the human spine and back of the skull plus the hands.

Done entirely in #2 Ticonderoga pencil
Time: 5 hours
